CivicaScript Launches Affordable Generic Medications

The newly launched products include:

• - Yulithira™ (everolimus) tablets, available in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 7.5 mg, and 10 mg doses, primarily used for treating hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer, as well as other serious conditions such as neuroendocrine tumors and renal cell carcinoma.
• - Fingolimod capsules, at a 0.5 mg dosage, designed to manage relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis.
• - Imatinib mesylate tablets, in film-coated 100 mg and 400 mg strengths, indicated for addressing various types of cancers, including Philadelphia positive chronic myeloid leukemia.

One of the most noteworthy aspects of these launches is the commitment to keeping prices significantly lower than the industry average. CivicaScript reports that its generics are priced up to 98% less than typical generic versions found on the market. For instance, the maximum retail price (MaxRP) for Yulithira tablets is approximately $1,631 per month less than the average claim costs for everolimus prescriptions from traditional pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). Similarly, fingolimod capsules and imatinib mesylate tablets showcase savings of around $1,032 and $5,564 per month respectively when compared to industry averages.

Brent J. Eberle, President of CivicaScript, emphasized the importance of transparency and affordability in healthcare.
