DHC Relocates Headquarters to Mitamachi Terrace
DHC Corporation, a leading brand based in Tokyo, has announced the upcoming relocation of its headquarters to the environmentally-friendly and smart Mitamachi Terrace, effective February 17, 2026. Previously spread across three locations, including the Shibaura Building, the consolidation aims to enhance collaboration among employees and improve operational efficiency in a modern workspace.
Mitamachi Terrace, conveniently located just a minute away from the Mita Station and a mere two-minute walk from the Tamachi Station, has been designed with an emphasis on sustainability and employee engagement. In the new office, DHC aspires to create an open and interactive environment that allows employees to communicate and collaborate effectively, regardless of their specific roles or departments. The office layout will predominantly feature a free-address system, enabling employees to choose their workspaces based on their daily needs.
One of the most notable features of the new office will be the incorporation of various meeting spaces catering to quick exchanges and brainstorming sessions. Employees can expect to find dedicated areas for focused work, as well as collaboration zones designed to stimulate natural conversations. This strategic setting promotes the flow of ideas and creativity, encapsulating DHC’s commitment to fostering a connected workplace.
Office Layout and Facilities
The new headquarters will occupy the 17th to 19th floors of the Mitamachi Terrace, boasting approximately 5,800 square meters of office space. The layout has been meticulously crafted to encourage flexibility and a multitude of working styles.
- - 19th Floor: Reception area, client meeting rooms, and workspace.
- - 18th Floor: Dedicated offices, meeting zones, and web booths.
- - 17th Floor: General office space, café area, large conference room, training facilities, and even a mock store for experiential learning.
DHC's CEO, Midorimiyazaki, expressed enthusiasm about the move, stating, "Our goal is to create an office that not only serves our business needs but also supports our commitment to sustainability and employee well-being. By bringing everyone together under one roof, we aim to strengthen our internal networks and foster a culture of innovation."
Celebrating the Move
In alignment with the company’s values, DHC has requested that instead of traditional congratulatory flowers or gifts to celebrate their new headquarters, supporters and partners consider donations for tree planting initiatives. This initiative emphasizes the company’s dedication to environmental conservation and sustainability. Those interested can contribute through their designated tree planting page at
