LG Celebrates the Opening of the SKS Chicago Showroom



LG Electronics has officially launched its SKS Chicago Showroom, a dedicated space showcasing its ultra-premium SKS brand of built-in home appliances. This newly opened showroom, situated in Chicago, Illinois, reflects the company's commitment to quality and innovation while enriching the North American luxury appliance market.

With a design that emphasizes lifestyle integration, the showroom embodies LG's philosophy of 'True to Food' which highlights the experience of cooking and enjoying food in a luxurious setting. The grand opening event was attended by key figures from Chicago's design and culinary sectors, emphasizing the showroom's role as a cultural and social hub.

A Space Designed for Inspiration



The SKS Chicago Showroom is designed in collaboration with the renowned architect Piero Lissoni, who is celebrated for his minimalist and elegant approach. The showroom spans an impressive 8,672 square feet and is themed as the 'SKS Theater,' creating an environment that is both calming and inspiring.

Visitors are greeted with five unique kitchen setups, including Serenity, Midnight, Residence, Immersive, and Interactive kitchens, each complete with expansive ceilings and grand 20-foot kitchen islands. This arrangement not only showcases the appliances but also allows designers and potential buyers to envision how these products can elevate their living spaces.

More than 50 SKS appliances are displayed, featuring revolutionary items such as pro-ranges with built-in sous vide technology, cutting-edge induction cooktops, and innovative refrigeration solutions. Among the highlights are LG’s 48-inch and 36-inch built-in French door refrigerators alongside the industry’s first built-in sous vide pro ranges, promising precision and performance in culinary endeavors.
