About Courtney Rollings Latham
Courtney is not only an experienced educator but also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and founder of Evner Behavior Services. With a teaching career spanning over a decade, her expertise is especially valuable in supporting children exhibiting both high-intensity and low-incidence behaviors. Her compassionate and hands-on approach ensures that her students receive the care and attention they require to thrive.
Latham’s transformative journey began at The Joseph Sams School in Georgia, where she educated children with developmental and physical challenges. After relocating to Jacksonville, Florida—a move prompted by her husband’s military service—she continued her impactful work at various private institutions, including Oak Hill Academy. Here, she focused on imparting essential communication and social-emotional skills to students with complex requirements.
In 2021, Latham established Evner Behavior Services. This organization specializes in providing tailored Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy across various settings including home, school, and community environments. The comprehensive evaluations conducted by her firm utilize advanced tools such as the ADOS-2, VB-MAPP, Vineland, and BASC-3. Latham’s collaborative methodology involves close cooperation with families, educators, and allied professionals, ensuring that the treatment provided is holistic, evidence-based, and effective.
Educational Background and Professional Impact
Courtney earned her Bachelor's degree in Multiple Abilities from The University of Alabama, followed by a Master’s in Special Education from Walden University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Additionally, she pursued advanced graduate courses in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. Latham holds a Florida Professional Teaching Certificate, with endorsements in Special Education, Elementary Education, and Autism.
In recognition of her significant contributions to behavior analysis and special education, Latham’s affiliation with The Inner Circle as a Pinnacle Professional Member is a testament to her leadership in the field.
