In a powerful celebration of International Women's Month this March, Hard Rock International and global superstar Shakira have announced a collaborative initiative aiming to empower women worldwide. This partnership is set to unfold over the course of an entire year, allowing women to share their stories, embrace authenticity, and connect through the universal language of music.

As part of this initiative, Hard Rock International will donate a portion of funds raised through its charitable arm, Hard Rock Heals Foundation®, during March to the Pies Descalzos Foundation—an organization founded by Shakira that aids the educational and social development of girls from impoverished communities in Colombia. This partnership underscores both Shakira’s commitment to helping empower young women and Hard Rock’s ongoing efforts to support local communities.

A Collaborative Celebration of Women



Shakira expressed enthusiasm about this partnership, emphasizing how it allows her to further uplift her “sisters” worldwide through music. “Together, we can break barriers and strive for an inclusive world where every woman can confidently express herself,” she stated, highlighting the essence of this collaboration.

The initiative will feature numerous women-led performances throughout March, with around 1,000 scheduled across Hard Rock's global venues, including cafes, hotels, and casinos. Performers will include renowned artists such as Diana Ross and stand-up comedian Iliza Shlesinger, contributing to a month filled with entertainment celebrating women's contributions to the arts.

Hard Rock and Shakira have also teamed up to create a unique limited-time menu reflecting Shakira’s heritage, incorporating her favorite dishes. Signature items include the playful “Hips Don't Lie” cocktail and a “Hamburguesa Colombiana”, both designed to celebrate women while providing a delicious experience for patrons.

In addition to the culinary offerings, merchandise such as exclusive International Women's Month t-shirts, hoodies, and pins will be available in Hard Rock's retail shops and online, with proceeds contributing to local women's organizations.

Beyond the excitement of promotions, Hard Rock Hotels worldwide will celebrate with an electrifying lineup of performances emphasizing the impact of women in music. Moreover, Hard Rock will donate a significant $250,000 to the Pies Descalzos Foundation, which continues to impact thousands in Colombia by improving educational resources and social services for girls in vulnerable situations.
