On June 16, 2025, JPI (Japan Planning Institute) is holding an essential seminar focused on the strategic role of well-being in modern business practices. Under the leadership of Motoko Ueno, Chair of the Liberal Democratic Party's Japan Well-being Policy Promotion Committee, attendees will delve into why and how Japanese companies should embark on well-being strategies amidst the current unpredictable global landscape.

The seminar addresses a crucial transition from shareholder capitalism to stakeholder capitalism. This change aligns with a broader economic paradigm wherein well-being is becoming increasingly central, transitioning focus from Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to Gross Domestic Well-being (GDW).
