Tenchijin, a prominent space venture certified by JAXA and based in Chuo, Tokyo, is set to participate as a Main Partner in the "Science Castle Asia 2026" conference, taking place on August 22-23, 2026, at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

Having participated last year as a Supporting Partner, where they showcased their services and held a workshop centered on utilizing satellite data, this year marks an exciting development as Tenchijin takes on a more significant role as a Main Partner. The company is keen on guiding the next generation of researchers from various Asian countries by offering workshops that highlight the innovative use of satellite data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in addressing global issues.

About Science Castle Asia 2026

The Science Castle Asia conference is organized by Leave a Nest Group, focusing on high school students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). It serves as a platform where students from across Asia present their research and innovation projects, receive feedback from experts in academia and industry, and interact with peers who share their passion for research.

This year's theme, "ADVANCED SCIENCE," is expected to cover a wide array of fields such as environmental sustainability, robotics, AI, health sciences, food technology, engineering, biodiversity, and solutions to local issues through research presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Reports from the previous year’s event are also available for review. Last year, Tenchijin made its initial appearance as Supporting Partner at "Science Castle Asia 2025" in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Through their exhibition and a workshop titled "Earth Insight from Space," they introduced around 70 participating students to the basics and applications of satellite data.

In the workshop, students explored pressing issues in Southeast Asia such as deforestation, flooding, air pollution, urban heat, and public health. They proposed potential solutions using satellite data. Many students expressed newfound interests, stating things like, "I want to incorporate satellite data into my research" and "I never thought space technology could be applied to everyday problems."

As a Main Partner this year, Tenchijin will continue to conduct workshops that illustrate how satellite data can be utilized in solving real-world societal challenges. The discussions will encourage students to connect their research interests with satellite data and space technology, fostering innovative ideas that could contribute to the future of our planet.
