Special Coaching Program for Social Sector Leaders
CTI JAPAN, one of the world’s leading coaching training organizations, in partnership with the NPO ETIC, is set to launch a special 2.5-day joint coaching workshop tailored for leaders and staff from the social sector starting January 22, 2026. This program has gained popularity since its inception in 2018, aimed at supporting social sector activities through international standards of coaching training at special pricing.
Why Coaching is Essential for the Social Sector Now?
In this complex age of societal challenges, social sector organizations are being urged to achieve results through collaborations with members possessing diverse values, as well as partnerships with different sectors such as government and corporations. However, many face communication difficulties in their day-to-day operations, including:
- - How to leverage the strengths of team members with varying backgrounds and value systems for collective success?
- - With the rise of remote work, authentic feelings and thoughts are becoming harder to grasp.
- - Seeking a collaborative approach that fosters autonomy and potential among beneficiaries, partners, and various stakeholders instead of a merely managerial one.
To tackle these challenges, learning coaching skills and adopting the coaching mindset is critical. This training will not only build trust within teams but will also enable effective dialogues amongst diverse stakeholders. Ultimately, it is indispensable in accelerating the movement toward solving societal issues.
The Importance of Co-Active® Coaching for the Social Sector
CTI JAPAN and ETIC believe that the Co-Active coaching approach, which engages both individuals’ 'Being' and 'Doing', is exceptionally effective in establishing equal partnerships. This ideological foundation resonates deeply with the values of the social sector, which seeks to empower each stakeholder involved in societal challenges.
Moreover, this workshop does not merely focus on communication techniques but emphasizes the underlying values and passions that shape 'Being'. Participants will be encouraged to solidify their personal leadership framework, enabling them to build a resilient foundation even in challenging situations.
This approach aims not just at immediate problem-solving but also at promoting sustainable growth in individuals and organizations while fostering essential relationships of trust with the surrounding community.
Voices from Participants
Participants from previous sessions have expressed:
- - “Having worked primarily in business-focused roles, I hadn't considered focusing on the feelings of stakeholders. However, during the training, I discovered there are methods to concentrate on 'people,' not just 'issues,' which opened my eyes.”
- - “Learning to prioritize what others desire and our expectations has significantly aided my communication skills.”
- - “The root of social problems lies with 'people.' Coaches can directly influence changes in those people's mindsets and actions. I firmly believe that increasing coaches within the social sector will contribute to solving these challenges.”
