KONAKA's Challenge for Executive Development: Mindset and Practical Skills Through Cross-Border Learning

KONAKA's Challenge for Executive Development

In an era of rapid change, cultivating the next generation of business leaders is crucial for sustainable growth. To address this need, KONAKA Co., Ltd. has implemented a unique executive development seminar titled "KONAKA's Challenge for Executive Development: How to Cultivate a Leadership Mindset and Practical Skills Through Cross-Border Learning." This event will take place on August 28, 2025, from 19:00 to 20:00.

KONAKA recognizes that many companies encounter difficulties in nurturing their future leadership, often experiencing a lack of measurable success or a sense of obligation among candidates. As there can be significant variations in mindset and awareness towards management among candidates, the challenge of effective training is magnified.

To combat these challenges, KONAKA is pioneering a Succession Plan that incorporates cross-border learning as a vehicle for developing future business leaders. This initiative has led to notable changes, with participants reporting a transformed awareness of their roles and improved decision-making capabilities from a managerial perspective.

This seminar will feature Makoto Shimizu, the Deputy General Manager of KONAKA's Human Resources Department, who will share:
  • - An overview of the executive development program
  • - The rationale behind KONAKA's emphasis on ``stretch experiences`` through cross-border learning
  • - The impacts of cross-border initiatives on fostering a ``personal connection to management``
  • - Various outcomes and transformations witnessed by participants
In-person interactions at this event will provide attendees with exclusive insights and experiences not available elsewhere, making it an opportunity not to miss!
