Ailytics Secures $7.4 Million in Series A Funding
Ailytics, a pioneering startup specializing in vision AI technology, has successfully raised $7.4 million in Series A funding led by Tin Men Capital. The company focuses on converting existing industrial CCTV systems into an efficient real-time safety and operations layer. With this investment, Ailytics is set to significantly broaden its reach within the APAC region, the United States, and the Gulf countries.
Significant Growth Since Pre-Series A Round
After an earlier pre-Series A funding of $2.7 million in April 2024, Ailytics has made remarkable strides, increasing its projects from 70 in four countries to over 400 deployments across 15 different nations. This rapid growth underscores the rising demand for safety and operational efficiency in various industries.
Expansion and Strategic Focus
Initially launched in Singapore, Ailytics has transitioned to large-scale operations at notable locations such as NatSteel, PaxOcean, DHL, and major airports including Rome's Leonardo da Vinci and Singapore's Changi Airport Terminal 5. The funding round will bolster local teams in critical markets like the US, Japan, Australia, and the Gulf region, allowing Ailytics to focus on challenging outdoor industrial environments.
Lenard Tan, co-founder and CEO, remarked, “This round strengthens our local teams in the US, Japan, Australia, and the Gulf, as we focus on harsh outdoor industrial environments. We are building a global industrial AI company from Singapore.”
Innovative Technology Built for Heavy Industries
Ailytics leverages its proprietary product, Ailyssa, which extracts three-dimensional spatial insights from a typical two-dimensional camera feed, even in adverse conditions such as rain, dust, or poor lighting using older cameras. The latest addition, AilyssaX, advances the capabilities further by providing on-the-move contextual scene processing and verifying multi-step procedures for more accurate alerts.
Prateek Manocha, co-founder and CTO, highlighted the advantages of this funding for future developments. “This round lets us build our own domain-specific reasoning models and maintain low AI operation costs as demand continues to increase.”
The company's remarkable metrics indicate that Ailytics has a strong foothold in 15 markets, showcasing impressive unit economics with a customer churn rate of less than 1%. Jeremy Tan, co-founder and managing partner at Tin Men Capital, emphasized his confidence in the team's potential for global scaling.
