Tin Men Capital Leads $7.4 Million Round for Ailytics' Global AI Expansion

Ailytics Secures Major Funding to Enhance AI Technology in Industrial Security

Ailytics, a promising startup in the realm of visual artificial intelligence (AI), has successfully closed a series A funding round, securing an impressive $7.4 million. This funding is particularly significant as it propels Ailytics’ ambition to expand its footprint across the Asia-Pacific region, the United States, and Gulf countries. The investment will bolster the company's capacity to innovate and expand its cutting-edge technology, aimed at transforming existing industrial CCTV systems into advanced security operations tools.

In this funding round, the investment was led by Tin Men Capital alongside a consortium of existing investors and notable new participants, including SEEDS from SG Growth Capital and Safie, Japan's largest cloud camera provider. These strategic partnerships are expected to provide Ailytics with not only financial support but also valuable market insights and access to key networks within the regions of interest.

Growth from Local Insights to Global Markets

Since its previous funding round of $2.7 million in April 2024, Ailytics has undergone tremendous growth, expanding its project base from 70 to over 400 implementations across 15 countries. Originally launching their technology within Singapore’s public housing sector, Ailytics now boasts deployments with major firms such as NatSteel, PaxOcean, and DHL, as well as at the prestigious Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome and the ongoing construction of Terminal 5 at Changi Airport.

Lenard Tan, co-founder and CEO of Ailytics, expressed enthusiasm about this financial boost, stating, “This round empowers our local teams in the U.S., Japan, Australia, and the Gulf region, enhancing our focus on robust outdoor industrial environments. We are evolving from a Singapore-based entity into a global leader in industrial AI.”

Cutting-Edge Technology at Its Core

Ailytics innovate through their proprietary product, Ailyssa, capable of deriving three-dimensional spatial understanding from two-dimensional inputs. This technology is impressively resilient, operating effectively in challenging conditions such as rain, dust, and poor lighting, even with decades-old cameras. Ailyssa provides practical insights in real-time, which is crucial for safety and operational efficiency.

Moreover, the latest iteration, AilyssaX, is designed to process contextual scenes on-the-go and to verify intricate multi-step procedures, delivering more precise alerts and actionable information. “With this funding, we can develop domain-specific reasoning models while maintaining low operational costs for AI despite rising demand,” explained Prateek Manocha, co-founder and CTO of the company.

A Bright Future Ahead

Ailytics’ entry into 15 markets reflects not only its growth but also its commitment to robust economic efficiency, as demonstrated by its impressive metric of customer turnover being less than 1%. Jeremy Tan, co-founder and managing partner at Tin Men Capital, remarked: “We are committed to supporting the team in their global expansion, ensuring they remain a strong force in the industrial AI space.”

Founded in Singapore in 2021, Ailytics is pioneering the transformation of conventional camera systems into layers of intelligence for real-time safety and operations in heavy industries. As they scale their operations and refine their technology, the world will be watching Ailytics with great interest.
