Ailytics Raises $7.4 Million Series A Funding
Ailytics, a startup that specializes in artificial intelligence-enabled computer vision technology, has successfully raised
$7.4 million in Series A funding. The financing was led by
Tin Men Capital, aimed at enhancing their operational capabilities and facilitating expansion into the
Asia-Pacific,
USA, and
Gulf countries. This fresh capital will enable Ailytics to elevate its proprietary AI tools, transforming conventional CCTV systems into smart monitoring platforms.
Growth and Origins
Founded in
2021 in
Singapore, Ailytics emerged from a successful pre-Series A round of
$2.7 million completed in April
2024, which enabled its initial expansion from
70 projects in four countries to over 400 projects across 15 countries. Key partners in this round also included SG Growth Capital's SEEDS program, major Japanese cloud surveillance company Safie, and a prestigious Japanese construction firm. Ailytics has quickly evolved from handling public housing projects in Singapore to undertaking large-scale initiatives with major corporations such as NatSteel, PaxOcean, and DHL, as well as in the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome and Changi Airport's Terminal 5.
Future Plans and Expansion
Lenard Tan, Co-Founder and CEO of Ailytics, emphasized that this funding round will significantly bolster their local teams in the
USA,
Japan,
Australia, and the
Gulf region, focusing on complex industrial environments. “We are poised to position Singapore as a global hub for industrial AI technologies,” Tan declared, outlining the company’s ambitious vision.
Ailytics’ flagship product,
Ailyssa, is designed to create comprehensive three-dimensional models using footage from dated two-dimensional cameras, functioning effectively in adverse conditions like rain and low lighting. This capability aims to provide actionable insights in real-time for industries that rely heavily on precise surveillance.
The recently developed
AilyssaX serves to process contextually relevant information about evolving environments and ensures compliance with multi-stage procedures, resulting in more accurate alerts and actionable data. Co-Founder and CTO
Prateek Manocha mentioned that the funding would also support the development of tailor-made analytical models that cater to industry-specific requirements while maintaining low operational costs for AI.
Ailytics is achieving substantial market penetration, operating in
15 different markets and demonstrating outstanding economic indicators with a customer churn rate below
1%. Jeremy Tan, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Tin Men Capital, expressed his commitment to supporting Ailytics' global scaling approach.
