Unlocking Creativity: The Human Capital Management Seminar by Marui Group

On December 5, 2025, Marui Group will host a seminar titled “Unlocking Creativity: Learning from Marui Group's Organization Development”, in collaboration with Nikkei ESG. This event is designed for companies aiming to enhance their workforce by inspiring employees to set high personal challenges and contribute more creatively to their organizational culture.

The seminar will feature Hiroshi Aoi, CEO of Marui Group, along with other executive members as instructors. They will elaborately explain the company's initiatives in human capital management and engage attendees in insightful dialogues. Marui Group has spent over a decade, starting in 2005, cultivating a unique corporate culture through initiatives such as the “Hands-Up Culture” and inter-group job transfers, aiming for transformative cultural change within the organization.

- 11:10–12:10: Lecture by CWO Reiko Kojima – Sharing the company's challenges and degree of flow during check-ins, discussing the core of human capital investment centered around well-being and Marui Group's efforts.
- 13:10–14:10: Employee Sharing Session – Project team members will present successful examples from departments participating in proactive internal projects.
- 14:20–15:20: Dialogue with CEO Hiroshi Aoi – A discussion addressing pre-collected questions from participants.
- 15:20–16:20: Seminar Reflection – A session for participants to declare their departmental aspirations and outline initiatives they wish to implement.
