Free Online Seminar on Protecting Children from SNS Risks and Scams

Free Online Seminar: Protecting Children from SNS Risks

Overview

On June 14, 2025, Decoboco Base Inc., a social franchise dedicated to supporting the economic independence of children with disabilities through 332 locations nationwide, will hold a free online seminar to educate parents, educators, and support personnel on the risks faced by children online. This event comes in response to increasing reports of children being targeted by malicious job offers and online scams via social media, particularly as summer vacation approaches.

Reason for Hosting

As summer brings about increased leisure time and social media use among children, the risk of them becoming victims of cyber crimes significantly heightens. Recognizing this pressing issue, this seminar aims to equip adults with the necessary knowledge to protect children from these dangers. Given the positive feedback from the previous session, we are excited to present a second edition.
