Generating AI for Human Resources: A Transformative Workshop Experience



On September 23, 2025, Trustyyle, a company based in Chuo, Tokyo, successfully hosted the "Generating AI for Human Resources: Fundamental Workshop" at their community space, HR Library. The event aimed to support HR professionals in becoming proficient users of AI technology through practical workshops and lectures focused on foundational principles.

Background and Purpose


The rapid advancement of generative AI and data analytics tools has ushered in significant changes in human resource management. Tasks traditionally undertaken by humans, such as recruitment, training, evaluations, and labor management, are now becoming more efficient due to AI technology, allowing HR professionals to focus on more strategic operations.

To navigate this evolving landscape, the HR Library community convened to answer the demand for training aimed at becoming adept at utilizing AI. The program was designed for individuals ranging from absolute beginners to those with some AI experience, focusing on an accessible level of skill acquisition through six hours of intensive hands-on learning.

About the Facilitator


The workshop was facilitated by Yosuke Yoshida, director of the HR Library. A graduate of Ritsumeikan University’s Graduate School of Policy Science, he launched his career in 2007 at Recruit Management Solutions, eventually leading numerous initiatives including the establishment of international operations. In March 2021, he founded Trustyyle, focusing on organizational support, particularly in companies lacking HR structures. He serves as a CHRO for a venture company and manages a Shanghai-based talent development firm, also providing HR advisory services to multiple companies. The HR Library, established in April 2024 through crowdfunding with support from 472 backers, has already assisted over 500 companies in diverse HR operations.

Main Outcomes and Future Plans


The event's goal was to provide a concentrated six-hour learning experience focused on the basics of integrating generative AI in HR practices. A week later, many participants reported that they had already begun applying what they learned in practical scenarios, marking this workshop as a pivotal step in their careers. Moving forward, the HR Library plans to continue hosting events that delve into the latest practical topics within HR technology and organizational development.

Due to the workshop's success, this program will be offered regularly to meet the community's ongoing needs. Under the tagline, “Learning with peers to shape the future,” the HR Library seeks to empower HR professionals to engage in strategic, forward-thinking work in this rapidly changing era while providing an ongoing space for practical learning and exchange.

About the HR Library


Opened on April 1, 2024, in Ningyocho, Tokyo, HR Library serves as a co-working space and community hub for HR professionals, housing over 2,500 books related to human resources and boasting a member base of over 700. The organization promotes continuous learning and future-oriented collaboration within the HR sector.
