Huawei's Global Installer Summit: Paving the Way for a Sustainable Energy Future

Huawei's Global Installer Summit: A Step Towards Sustainability

From October 21 to 23, 2026, Huawei hosted its 7th Global Installer Summit in Dongguan, China, where more than 1,000 partners and installers from 54 countries came together to explore advancements in the green energy sector. This event aimed to discuss strategies, introduce new products, and develop innovative solutions to create a future powered by renewable energy.

The Vision of a Green Energy Ecosystem

Huawei Digital Power showcased its comprehensive installation strategy and introduced the revolutionary LUTERRA™ S2, the industry's first full-SiC all-in-one system. This product reflects Huawei's commitment to low-carbon manufacturing, electrification of mobility, and intelligent solutions that enhance the integration of renewable energy into homes.

The LUTERRA™ S2 is designed for maximum efficiency and usability. It features complete wireless communication, a single SKU to minimize logistics and storage costs, and a swift installation time of just ten minutes. With a 10% increased usable capacity and a remarkable 43% longer energy lifespan, the LUTERRA™ S2 addresses the complexities of installation and support, enabling installers to serve their customers more effectively.

Competitive Spirit: Global Installation Races

One of the highlights of the summit was the inaugural global installation competition organized by Huawei FusionSolar, where 48 teams from 36 countries competed in a race to demonstrate the unbeatable efficiency of the LUTERRA S2. The winning team from Spain made an impressive installation in just 2 minutes and 32 seconds, exemplifying the rapid capabilities of the new system.

Participants and industry leaders shared inspiring success stories. For instance, a French installer discussed transitioning from traditional sales to a subscription-based platform that connects homeowners with installers, banks, and network operators. Thai representatives highlighted the integration of photovoltaics, energy-efficient systems, and green financing to create smart home ecosystems. Additionally, a Mexican installer presented best practices for overcoming industry challenges through regulatory compliance and collaboration.

Moreover, a Brazilian installer showcased reliability by being the first to install Huawei's BESS system in the region before selling it to customers. Such examples emphasize the rich knowledge and diverse experiences shared among global professionals at the summit.

A Collaborative Future for Installers

The summit was not merely a gathering for industry discussions but served as a strategic platform for global installation partners to align on shared visions and collectively shape sustainable development plans. Huawei reiterated its commitment to collaborating with installers, providing technological innovations and building a coherent ecosystem aimed at accelerating the global green transformation.

With plans to launch the LUTERRA S2 in Europe this November and the Asia-Pacific region in December, Huawei aims to further influence the global landscape of renewable energy.

The discussions and solutions proposed during this summit mark a significant milestone in the journey toward a greener energy future, reaffirming that collaboration and innovation are key to successfully transitioning to a sustainable world.
