TETRA Technologies Reports Record Revenue in Q3 2026

TETRA Technologies, Inc. has recently announced exceptionally strong financial results for the third quarter of 2026. The company reported revenues of $168.0 million, marking the highest third-quarter revenue the firm has achieved in a decade. This represents a 10% increase compared to the same period last year, indicating robust performance across various segments of its operations.

Financial Highlights

In addition to the record revenue, TETRA also posted a net income of $6.8 million, which includes unusual charges amounting to $2.0 million. The Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter stood at $25.1 million, showcasing a solid operational efficiency. Notably, net income per share was reported at $0.05, while adjusted net income per share was $0.06.

Brady Murphy, President and CEO of TETRA, expressed strong satisfaction regarding the quarterly performance. He highlighted that the international revenue generated $68.8 million, which comprises 41% of the total consolidated revenue. This achievement underscores TETRA's successful engagement and growth in international markets.

Segment Performance

The impressive revenue results were driven by significant milestones across TETRA's various business sectors. The Industrial Chemicals division, in particular, showed notable strength, achieving its best third-quarter revenue in ten years with a staggering 32% year-over-year growth. This surge can primarily be attributed to the uptick in semiconductor manufacturing and a rising demand for electrolytes used in energy storage solutions.

Meanwhile, the Water and Flowback segment experienced year-over-year revenue growth of 21%, accompanied by a substantial increase in Adjusted EBITDA margin, up 480 basis points to 16.7%. These figures reflect a successful uptick in production testing operations, achieving the highest revenue and Adjusted EBITDA levels seen in a decade for that segment.

TETRA’s Completion Fluids and Products segment saw record performance driven by strong demand in both domestic and international markets. The company’s strategic investment in its Arkansas bromine plant remains underway, with construction on track for mechanical completion within the next year, gearing up for future chemical production.

Looking Ahead

As TETRA looks towards the fourth quarter and into 2027, the company anticipates maintaining strong revenue growth. The outlook highlights expected increases in both consolidated revenue and Adjusted EBITDA, with projections for double-digit year-on-year growth continuing into the upcoming quarters. Importantly, plans for deeper international engagement, including the deployment of automated TETRA SandStorm technology in the Middle East, will bolster TETRA's portfolio.

Moreover, TETRA is currently working on seven projects related to its TETRA Oasis Total Desalination Solution, an initiative that capitalizes on conversion technology for produced water into a valuable resource, which significantly enhances TETRA's sustainability goals.
