Huawei's Global Installer Summit: Shaping a Greener Future with Innovative Solutions

Huawei's 7th Global Installer Summit

From October 21-23, 2026, Huawei hosted its 7th Global Installer Summit in Dongguan, China, attracting more than 1,000 partners and installers from 54 different countries. This significant event offered a platform for discussions on new strategies, innovative products, and industry trends, all aimed at exploring the future of the green energy ecosystem.

At the summit, Huawei Digital Power presented its comprehensive installation strategy alongside its groundbreaking product, the LUTERRA™ S2, reasserting the company's commitment to low-carbon energy production, mobility electrification, and pervasive intelligence. This innovative system aims to boost renewable energy through networks and AI, enhance mobility safety through complete electrification, and maximize energy efficiency.

Huawei has already enabled over 4.3 million owners globally to access effective energy solutions. By simplifying the installer journey, the company provides faster installations and reliable support through strategic services that help manage technical complexities. The highlight of the summit was the launch of the LUTERRA™ S2—the first fully SiC all-in-one system in the industry—designed for maximum efficiency and ease of use. This revolutionary product offers complete wireless communication, a single reference for logistical and storage cost reduction, installation in under 10 minutes, a 10% increase in usable capacity, and a 43% greater energy lifespan.

The event also marked the first global installation competition organized by Huawei FusionSolar, featuring 48 teams from 36 countries. Competitors experienced the unparalleled efficiency of the LUTERRA S2, with the champion team from Spain completing their installation in an astonishing time of just 2 minutes and 32 seconds, highlighting the system's rapid installation capabilities.

During the summit, six representatives from international installers shared compelling success stories. Notably, a French installer discussed transitioning from a traditional resale model to a subscription platform that connects homeowners, installers, banks, and grid managers. Three Thai representatives elaborated on integrating photovoltaic systems, energy storage solutions, chargers, and green finance to evolve from isolated products to connected home ecosystems. Additionally, a Mexican installer presented best practices addressing the energy challenges in the industrial sector through compliance and collaboration, while a Brazilian installer showcased exceptional reliability by installing Huawei's first battery energy storage system (BESS) in the region at their own facility before making any customer sales.

More than just a professional event, the summit served as a strategic meeting point for installer partners worldwide to align on shared visions and collaboratively define a sustainable development roadmap. Moving forward, Huawei is committed to continuing partnerships with installers, leveraging technological innovation and collaboratively building ecosystems to advance the global green transition. The LUTERRA S2 is set to debut in Europe in November and in the Asia-Pacific region in December. Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking advancement in the energy sector.
