Furthermore, 42.1% indicated that projected costs were higher than expected, up by 17.0%.

These struggles highlight significant barriers to relocation amidst pricing inflation and a shortage of available units. Shift speeds have quickened as a result, with the percentage of users who completed an application within two weeks of initiating their search rising from 4.5% to 10.0%. Similarly, those who signed contracts without visiting a property doubled from 5.4% to 10.0%. Consequently, effective and rapid decision-making has never been more critical.

Customer expectations from real estate brokerage firms are also evolving. The need for rapid delivery of updated vacancy information has surged, with 36.8% of respondents prioritizing quick access to the latest listings – a whopping 25.1% increase over the previous year. A robust offering of alternative property proposals is also emphasized by 24.7% of customers, as they increasingly demand tailored and timely responses that cater to their unique needs. The double focus on 'speed of proposal' and 'breadth of options' is now more crucial than ever.

Amid these challenges, relying solely on portal site searches proves insufficient. The demand for swift and precise property recommendations from sales agents is at an all-time high. The 'Rental Cloud' aims to address these issues and enhance operational productivity in rental brokerage and customer experiences.
