As LORE Roppongi prepares to celebrate its 6th anniversary on July 8, 2025, it invites guests to indulge in a limited-time special course made with seasonal ingredients. This commemorative offering also coincides with the launch of the "Late-Night French Bistro," allowing patrons to enjoy exquisite French cuisine late into the night.

A Journey through Six Years


Since its inception, LORE Roppongi has garnered tremendous support from its clientele, leading to this remarkable milestone. In gratitude, the restaurant is unveiling a unique "6th Anniversary Special Course" crafted by Chef Kaoru Takagi, who infuses each dish with his culinary expertise and creativity. Guests are encouraged to savor this extraordinary experience surrounded by elegant decor reminiscent of Nordic dining.

  • - Cold Appetizer: Gazpacho Andalusian-style
  • - Warm Appetizer: Tanba Black Chicken Rillettes layered with Eggplant, Foie Gras, Pineapple & Date Chutney, served with Black Cherry Sauce
  • - Vegetable Dish: Animal Farm Delight
  • - Shellfish Dish: Korean-style oysters, snails in Aosa butter, and vongole with anchovies and mushroom butter
  • - Fish Course: Wrapped Spanish mackerel with Makomo mushrooms and mini vegetables in Champagne sauce
  • - Meat Course: Hakodate beef sirloin with sweet corn churros and fennel sauce, served with spicy truffle sauce
  • - Avant-Dessert: Lychee tofu
  • - Dessert: Poached peach and green papaya with mint and basil granita, served with white peach sorbet

Introducing the Late-Night French Bistro


This summer, LORE Roppongi expands its offerings with the introduction of the "Late-Night French Bistro." Open from 21:00 to 4:00, it presents an à la carte menu focused on delectable, casual dishes perfect for late-night cravings. Highlights include:
  • - Quick Bites: Mixed olives, Middle Eastern-style nuts, salads
  • - Starters: White liver pâté, salmon marinated in a twist, and house-made warm pâté
  • - Main Courses: Hamburg steak, sirloin steak, and sides including various comforting dishes
  • - Desserts: Cream brûlée and banana cake

Outstanding wine selections are also available, allowing patrons to enjoy a glass with their meal or a casual drink.

Chef Kaoru Takagi


Chef Takagi boasts an impressive culinary background, previously leading renowned Michelin-starred kitchens in Paris. His commitment to perfecting each detail, from the taste of local ingredients to the presentation, reflects the essence of French cuisine. His specialty dishes include the exquisite Kinmedai, seasoned with a traditional sauce that has been perfected over 30 years in his hometown, Shimoda, known for its prime Kinmedai catch.
