Wella Professionals Becomes Official Partner of F1 Academy to Empower Women in Racing
An Empowering Partnership: Wella Professionals and F1 Academy
F1 Academy has officially announced a groundbreaking global partnership with Wella Company, known worldwide as the leading salon color brand. This collaboration marks Wella Professionals' debut in the realm of sports sponsorship and symbolizes a strong commitment to inspiring women to break barriers in motorsport and embrace their individuality. This partnership will take shape at the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2025, where Wella Professionals will be represented by the talented Joanne Ciconte, driving the innovative Wella Professionals operated by MP car.
The unique design of the racing car represents Wella's commitment to creativity and self-expression through a colorful livery influenced by the brand’s signature red color and its iconic mermaid logo. This thematic alignment coincides beautifully with Wella’s global campaign, Make It You, which encourages individuals to celebrate their unique beauty and creativity.
Joanne Ciconte’s race suit, perfectly crafted to highlight Wella's aesthetic, further emphasizes the brand's mission of limitless creativity in beauty. The #25 car will feature the campaign slogan, promoting a bold message of self-empowerment within the racing community.
Engaging Fans and Celebrating Women in Sports
Throughout the season, Wella Professionals plans to engage fans with exciting activities in the F1 Academy paddock. Interactions will include opportunities for race attendees to experience Wella’s product offerings, along with beauty touch-ups from renowned brands such as OPI and ghd. This ensures that fans not only witness the thrilling races but also get a chance to engage with Wella’s transformative beauty world.
The collaboration comes at a pivotal moment for F1 Academy, which has seen remarkable audience growth with seven races planned across three continents in 2025. With broadcasting reaching over 170 markets, the partnership will extend F1 Academy's visibility and further propel its mission to empower women in motorsport.
