CGTN Expands Its Reach with New FAST Channels
The China Global Television Network (CGTN), the international division of the China Media Group (CMG), has officially launched three new specialized channels on free, ad-supported streaming platforms (FAST). This significant move aims to reach an impressive audience of nearly 200 million viewers worldwide, delivering a diverse array of programming to global audiences.

Discovering China - will broadcast 24/7 across 15 major FAST platforms, marking a crucial step for CMG in expanding its business models and enhancing its international communication strategy.

The launch was celebrated during the inaugural meeting of the Global South Media Partners Mechanism and the 13th Global Video Media Forum (VMF), taking place in the ancient city of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, Northwestern China. This event emphasized CMG's commitment to fostering partnerships and adapting to the evolving landscape of global media.

Each of the three channels has been carefully curated to meet the demands of international audiences with targeted content:
