On October 27, 2025, Eikei University, located in Hiroshima City, will host an engaging and insightful event titled, "From Community Engagement to Corporate Growth: Exploring the Potential of Industry-Academia Collaboration Through Eikei University's Co-creation Project Examples." This event aims to introduce the concept of collaborative projects between local communities and businesses to various companies in the metropolitan area.

Eikei University, under the leadership of President Mutsuhiko Arinobu, has been at the forefront of promoting industry-academia collaboration through various co-creation projects. The university's initiatives focus on shaping a framework where local communities and businesses can jointly build a brighter future. This event serves as a platform for discussing the benefits of regional engagement for companies aiming to expand into local markets and foster community revitalization.

One of the highlights of the event will be the keynote speech delivered by Ryo Kato from Pasona JOB HUB, who has been a leading figure in regional revitalization efforts. His presentation will address the important question: "Why should companies connect with local communities now?" Drawing on insights from his extensive experience, Kato will explore how companies can enhance their market reach, secure valuable talent, and increase brand value through effective collaboration with local regions.
