Zoomcar Posts Record Revenue and Profitability Figures for December 2025

Zoomcar Achieves Record Financial Results for December 2025

BENGALURU, India, Jan 20, 2026 — Zoomcar Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: ZCAR), synonymous with self-drive car-sharing in India, recently unveiled its preliminary financial performance for December 2025, highlighting significant growth in both profit and revenue efficiency.

According to internal preliminary data, Zoomcar is poised to report a 2% rise in bookings relative to November 2025. More notably, the company's Gross Booking Value (GBV) soared by 27%, alongside a remarkable 34% increase in Net GAAP Revenue. This indicates a compelling enhancement in the platform's revenue efficiency, achieving a notable $1 million in projected Net GAAP Revenue for December, all without any additional marketing expenditures.

CEO Deepankar Tiwari attributed this stellar performance to a strategic focus on disciplined execution and enhancing unit economics. The figures reflect substantial operating leverage resulting from increased average trip durations and transaction values. The average trip length reportedly escalated by approximately 20% to 60 hours, and the average transaction value rose by around 30% to nearly $78. These metrics underscore not just a surge in sustainability for the business model but also an exceptional customer appeal for the services offered.

To provide a better perspective, the contribution profit for December is projected at around 58% of Net GAAP Revenue, or approximately $17.52 per booking. This marks a significant increase compared to the average contribution profit of about $11.63 per booking from April to November 2025. Tiwari emphasized how the results reflect a journey towards enhancing the quality of bookings while effectively controlling operational costs.

Zoomcar’s rapid ascendance as a leader in the car-sharing space has been underpinned by its commitment to promoting smarter, environmentally friendly, and economically beneficial mobility solutions. With a platform connecting individual car owners (referred to as Hosts) with users (known as Guests), Zoomcar stands as a pivotal player in the evolution of transportation in India. This user-centric model not only offers flexibility for vehicle access but also marks a shift towards sustainable living through shared mobility.

However, while the projections for December are robust, Zoomcar advises stakeholders to note that these results are based on preliminary unaudited data that may be revised as the firm completes its financial closing procedures. The company has committed to adhering to U.S. GAAP standards in its future reports, ensuring transparency regarding its operational performance amidst the unpredictable nature of the market. As financial trends continue to evolve, overall economic conditions, demand for services, and competitive pressures remain vital factors that could influence Zoomcar’s trajectory.

In summary, December 2025 proved to be a landmark month for Zoomcar, showcasing its ability to harness operational efficiencies and adapt to market conditions while providing quality services to its users. As it moves forward, the company aims to build on this success, fostering a transportation ecosystem that benefits both individual users and the environment. With a keen eye on maintaining this growth momentum, Zoomcar is well-positioned for a promising year ahead.
