Unick's Innovative Uni-E Series of Crawler Robots
Unick Co., Ltd., led by CEO Mikio Takeuchi, is excited to announce the launch of its new line of crawler-driven mobile and operational robots, named the
Uni-E Series. These versatile machines will be available for purchase starting on
May 28, 2025. Designed to meet the needs of modern agricultural practices, the Uni-E Series enhances functionality and efficiency in various applications.
Features and Attachments
The Uni-E Series builds upon the foundations of the
UniBo Model-E, integrating essential attachments like a grass cutting unit and a soil displacement attachment. These additions are set to transform the Uni-E into an electric remote-controlled grass cutter, a mini bulldozer, and a transportation vehicle. This modularity allows users to adapt the robot for different tasks, improving overall capabilities and performance.
Customer-Centric Modifications
Unlike previous models, the new series comes with standardized attachments that reflect high customer demand for specific functionalities. With this shift, the Uni-E aims to be more accessible, offering competitive pricing while still delivering robust performance. The series intends to evolve further by integrating advancements for terrestrial drone applications in the near future.
Advanced Base Mechanism
The Uni-E Series inherits a unique crawler belt that ensures high ground pressure and low friction, ultimately leading to superior mobility and performance. The electric drive motor maintains the same output level as earlier models, coupled with a
48V, 1.2kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, facilitating a substantial load capacity of up to
200 kg.
Grass Cutting Attachment
Equipped with an electric twin rotary cutting blade, the grass cutting mechanism of the Uni-Mowers Model-E employs patented technology to effectively draw in and shred grass, akin to its predecessor, the Uni-Mowers Model-S. This design promotes quieter operation and minimizes debris displacement while executing powerful grass cutting tasks.
Soil Displacement Attachment
The soil displacement tool features an electric lift mechanism made from stainless steel. The tractor's thrust is approximately
100 kg, allowing for effective expulsion of waste materials, soil, and snow, depending on surface conditions. With a ground clearance of about
40 cm, the Uni-E is adept at navigating tighter areas and executing efficient operations in confined spaces.
Transport Capabilities
The Uni-Bo Model-E comes outfitted with a carrying tray, further extending its utility in transporting materials across farm landscapes or construction sites.
Upcoming Exhibition
The Uni-E Series will be showcased during the
Kyushu Agricultural WEEK, held at
Grand Messe Kumamoto for three days, starting from May 28, 2025. This event will provide an excellent opportunity to see the robots in action and understand their practical applications in agriculture.
