JX Communications to Exhibit at RISCON TOKYO 2025
JX Communications, a forward-thinking media venture based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is set to participate in the upcoming "RISCON TOKYO 2025," a conference dedicated to crisis management, which will take place from October 1 to October 3, 2025, at Tokyo Big Sight. This annual exhibition aims to explore advancements and strategies in disaster preparedness and response, making it a crucial event for professionals in the field.
The company, which specializes in enhancing disaster resilience through its innovative services, will showcase its AI-driven risk information service, "FASTALERT," aimed at providing timely alerts on disasters, accidents, and other critical events that can impact business continuity.
On the first day of the exhibition, October 1st, Katsuhira Yoneshige, the CEO of JX Communications, will deliver a keynote address alongside Yoichiro Kuno, an Executive Consultant at Newton Consulting. Their talk will cover important topics in disaster risk management, particularly focusing on past incidents such as major earthquakes and floods. They will also discuss potential threats businesses may face in the upcoming year in light of recent natural disasters and geopolitical risks.
The keynote session, entitled “What Will Be the Next Crisis? A Retrospective of This Year’s Risks and Future Preparedness,” is expected to attract a significant audience, particularly crisis management and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) professionals seeking insights and strategies to mitigate risks.
In addition to the keynote speech, JX Communications will present the capabilities of "FASTALERT" at their booth, providing visitors with a firsthand look at how the AI service efficiently collates critical risk information from various sources to deliver real-time updates that can aid decision-making in crisis situations.
To further engage with attendees, JX Communications will distribute a complimentary booklet titled "The Essential Guide to BCP and SCM" (supervised by MS&AD InterRisk Research & Consulting) at their booth (West Hall 1, 1A-40). This resource aims to consolidate practical knowledge for crisis management professionals, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visitors can attend the event free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Interested individuals are encouraged to secure their spots ahead of time and make their way to the JX Communications booth during their visit.
