New Leadership for South Coast AQMD

On February 6, 2026, Michael A. Cacciotti was officially sworn in as the new Chair of the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) Governing Board. Cacciotti’s team will also benefit from the ongoing experience of Riverside County Supervisor V. Manuel Perez, who has been reappointed to the Governing Board.
