Beep Introduces Groundbreaking Shared Autonomous Vehicle Deployments for Global Impact

Beep, Inc., a pioneer in the deployment of shared autonomous vehicle (AV) solutions, has recently unveiled a significant enhancement to transportation options across the United States. According to a statement released on November 6, 2025, the company is set to launch two groundbreaking shared AV deployments in 2026. These developments will not only cater to local communities but also aim to have a worldwide impact, marking a new chapter in urban mobility.

Deployment Overview

The deployments will take place in two major locations: Altamonte Springs, Florida, and Atlanta, Georgia. The city of Altamonte Springs is poised to expand its CraneRIDES program, which will incorporate shared AVs as part of its regional transit network. This initiative is particularly significant as it positions Altamonte Springs as the first U.S. city to implement a permanent AV program, representing a major step towards integrating autonomous technology into municipal transit systems.

Frank Martz, City Manager of Altamonte Springs, stated, "We are proud to lead with this initiative, connecting communities while significantly enhancing access and mobility for our residents." These shared AVs will also provide direct connectivity to regional transit services such as the SunRail station, which is a crucial step in enhancing multimodal transport connectivity across the region.

Meanwhile, in Atlanta, Beep plans to introduce fixed-route shared AVs ahead of the highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup. This pilot program is set to demonstrate Atlanta’s commitment to fostering innovative and accessible transportation solutions. Clyde Higgs, President and CEO of Atlanta Beltline, Inc., highlighted the importance of this initiative, stating it will create a more inclusive transport framework that truly connects residents and visitors alike.

Technology and Partnerships

Central to these AV solutions is Beep's advanced AutonomOS™ service management platform, which is designed to ensure safe and efficient transport operations. The innovative Karsan Autonomous e-JEST vehicles will be pivotal in this deployment. Featuring a sophisticated sensor suite and ADASTEC’s SAE Level-4 automation platform, the e-JEST is equipped to handle diverse traffic and various weather conditions.

The Karsan Autonomous e-JEST has a remarkable history; with over 10,000 units produced globally, including more than 1,000 electric versions operating in various regions such as Europe, North America, and Japan, the model has established itself as a reliable choice for urban transportation. The vehicle has undergone rigorous testing and is compliant with all necessary safety standards, ensuring a dependable service for users.

In addition to the technological advancements, the partnerships formed between Beep, Karsan, ADASTEC, and Damera Corp strengthen the framework for these deployments. Damera will serve as the exclusive distributor for Karsan’s vehicles across North America, providing essential support for sustainable transit solutions. The cooperative effort aims to ensure a seamless transition to a cleaner and more efficient public transport system.

Looking Ahead

As the world moves towards greater urbanization and ecological responsibility, the introduction of shared AVs marks a pivotal moment in public transportation evolution. With ongoing advancements and commitment towards making cities more mobile and connected, these deployments not only address immediate transit needs but also lay the groundwork for future innovations in smart transport infrastructure.

Beep's initiatives represent a testament to the potential of autonomous transport, showcasing its practicality and relevance in contemporary urban planning. By focusing on enhancing user experience, safety, and operational efficiency, Beep is helping to redefine how communities engage with their transportation networks. As we approach the deployment dates in 2026, the anticipation builds for how these shared AV services will reshape the landscape of public transit in both Altamonte Springs and Atlanta, setting a remarkable precedent for cities across the United States and beyond.
