GAC Launches the ALL-NEW E8 at the 2026 Macao Auto Expo

On October 30, 2026, the 16th China (Macao) International Automobile Exposition was inaugurated at Cotai Expo in The Venetian Macao. This year’s event spotlighted the theme "Where Craft Meets Technology," with GAC showcasing several models featuring alternative powertrains. The highlight was the official launch of the GAC ALL-NEW E8, alongside other models like the AION i60 and AION N60, which made their debuts in Macau.

Its spacious interior, around 56 square feet, comes with 18 seating configurations, providing flexibility for family outings and gatherings.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a 540° panorama surround-view camera system, enhancing safety and ease of navigation. It boasts an impressive combined range of 1,537 km according to the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC).

GAC has priced the MAX variant of the E8 at 339,800 HKD and the ULTRA variant at 369,800 HKD, with an early bird discount of 6,000 HKD available for initial buyers.

GAC's momentum is reflected in its retail sales, which have surged by 109% in the Asia-Pacific region during the first three quarters of this year. Notably, in September, retail sales in Portugal rose by 34% month-on-month, while sales in Brazil skyrocketed by 280% year-on-year.
