The Third National High School Policy Contest
The Japan Junior Chamber (日本JC), located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, will host the
third National High School Policy Contest on
July 24, 2025, in the conference room of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Esteemed members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly will judge the competition, and we cordially invite various media representatives to cover this inspiring event.
This contest aims to engage high school students across the nation in formulating solutions to social issues and presenting them to the government. By developing policies based on a given theme, students gain opportunities to immerse themselves in political discussions, fostering their awareness as future voters and participants in democracy.

Civic education plays a critical role as it empowers citizens to actively participate in politics and society, equipping them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and mindset to engage as responsible citizens.
