Exploring the Effectiveness of Pro Bono Experiences in Developing Autonomous Talent Through Workshops

Event Overview

On August 21, 2025, Trustyyle Co., Ltd. will host an insightful workshop at the HR Library titled "Addressing Challenges in Autonomous Talent Development: Are Cross-Border Experiences Truly Effective?" This event aims to engage HR professionals in discussions about the various approaches towards nurturing autonomous talent through innovative experiences such as pro bono work.

In recent years, cross-border experiences have gained popularity as a method to expand employees' horizons and stimulate innovation by offering them chances to gain new perspectives in environments distinct from their usual work settings. One specific implementation of these experiences is through pro bono activities, where professionals volunteer their expertise to assist nonprofits addressing social issues. This not only supports social challenges but also provides participants with valuable growth opportunities through challenging experiences in new environments.

During the event, HR personnel will openly share their current challenges related to developing autonomous talent and explore the potential of pro bono work as a means to address these issues. Keynote speakers from the NPO Service Grant, Koizumi and Omori, will share insights gleaned from their past efforts on how to maximize the effectiveness of cross-border experiences. This workshop will facilitate a collaborative environment where HR professionals can collectively seek out optimal utilization methods for their organizations.

Workshop Structure

The program includes three parts:
1. Urgency and Current State of Autonomous Talent Development: Participants will engage in discussions about immediate concerns regarding skill development in their teams.
2. Effectiveness of Cross-Border Experiences as a Solution: Analyze real-life examples that highlight the potential benefits of introducing pro bono initiatives.
3. Practical Organizational Deployment Methods: Participants will partake in discussions aimed at developing actionable strategies tailored to their organizations' needs.

The event aims to provide HR professionals with an interactive platform to discuss their unique challenges, exchange ideas with the speakers, and identify the next steps that align with their organization’s context.
