Huawei's 7th Global Installer Summit: Building a Green Future Together
Huawei's 7th Global Installer Summit: Pioneering a Sustainable Future
From October 21 to 23, 2026, Huawei hosted its 7th Global Installer Summit in Dongguan, China, an event that unified more than 1,000 partners and installers from 54 countries. This significant gathering aimed to facilitate discussions on strategies, innovative products, industry trends, and business models while exploring the future of green energy ecosystems.
The summit served as a platform not just for networking, but also for showcasing Huawei's commitment to enhancing renewable energy with cutting-edge technology. During the event, Huawei Digital Power unveiled a groundbreaking product that is set to transform the landscape of energy generation. By focusing on carbon-free energy generation and enhanced mobility electrification, Huawei is positioning itself for a future where intelligent technology is effortlessly integrated at all levels of energy systems.
One of the most notable highlights was the introduction of the LUTERRA™ S2, recognized as the first-ever Full-SiC All-in-One system in the industry. This innovative solution is designed for utmost efficiency and ease of use, featuring fully wireless communication and significant reductions in logistics and inventory costs. The installation of the LUTERRA™ S2 is efficient enough to be completed in under ten minutes, while also offering increased usable capacity and energy yield throughout its lifespan. This kind of efficiency is crucial, particularly as Huawei aims to simplify the entire process for installers—helping them to serve their clients better and build sustainable businesses.
Adding to the excitement of the summit was Huawei FusionSolar's first worldwide installation competition, which saw participation from 48 teams across 36 countries. The competition allowed members to experience the exceptional efficiency of the new LUTERRA™ S2 system firsthand. The Spanish team clinched the top spot, finishing their installation in an astonishing 2 minutes and 32 seconds, highlighting the impressive installation speed of this system, which received widespread acclaim.
Throughout the summit, representatives from various countries shared transformative success stories that highlighted the evolving landscape of energy solutions. For instance, a French installer discussed transitioning from traditional resale to a subscription model supported by a platform that connects homeowners, installers, banks, and network operators. Thai representatives elaborated on how the integration of photovoltaic systems (PV), energy storage systems (ESS), charging solutions, and green financing could transform standalone products into cohesive smart energy ecosystems for homes. A Mexican installer offered valuable insights into how regulatory compliance and collaboration can overcome challenges in the industrial energy supply sector. Furthermore, a Brazilian installer showcased his confidence in Huawei's technology by installing its first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in his own factory before offering it to clients.
This summit was more than a mere industry event; it acted as a strategic meeting point where installation partners could align their visions and collaboratively determine the path for sustainable development. Huawei is committed to continuing its cooperation with installers to promote a global green transition, driven by technological innovation and ecosystem development.
The LUTERRA S2 is set to launch in Europe in November and in the Asia-Pacific region in December. Stay tuned for more updates on this innovative solution and its impact on the green energy landscape.
