Honda Mobilityland and Coca-Cola Collaborate for Suzuka 8-Hour Race Event

Exciting Collaboration for the Suzuka 8-Hour Endurance Race

Honda Mobilityland and Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan are teaming up to celebrate the upcoming "Coca-Cola Suzuka 8-Hour Endurance Race" set to take place from August 1 to August 3, 2025. This partnership includes a special promotion through the official Coca-Cola app, "Coke ON," beginning July 25, 2025.

The Coca-Cola system has been a proud main sponsor of the Suzuka 8-Hour race since 1984, marking a significant milestone this year as they celebrate their 40th anniversary of support. The campaign involves several interactive elements designed to enhance the spectator experience during the race weekend, all while showcasing Coca-Cola's iconic brand.

Campaign Highlights

1. Special Coke ON Stamps

From July 25 to August 8, 2025, attendees at the Suzuka Circuit can participate in the "Coke ON" campaign. When purchasing Coca-Cola products from designated vending machines equipped with the Coke ON app, customers will receive not only the regular stamps but also an exclusive Suzuka 8-Hour themed stamp as a bonus.

2. Free Drink Tickets on Race Day

On race day, August 3, visitors aboard the Ferris wheel “Circuit Wheel” in Suzuka Circuit Park will receive a special Coca-Cola drink ticket when they bring along Coca-Cola products. This giveaway aims to enhance the festivities and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the sponsorship. For those in groups, as long as they bring at least one Coca-Cola product per cabin (which holds up to six people), they will receive one drink ticket per cabin.

3. Bottle-to-Bottle Recycling Experience

Honda Mobilityland and Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan are committed to fostering a circular economy and will be presenting their "Bottle-to-Bottle" recycling initiative during the event. This initiative focuses on the collection and recycling of used PET bottles, showcasing how they can be transformed back into beverage containers.

Engaging Participants with Bottle-to-Bottle Challenges

From August 2 to August 3, visitors can take part in the "Bottle-to-Bottle" challenge at the GP Square Coca-Cola booth. Attendees will be invited to drop empty PET bottles into a collection box as part of a fun game. Successful participants will receive exclusive Suzuka 8-Hour merchandise, including Coca-Cola drink tickets.

Event Details

  • - Challenge Dates: August 2-3, 2025
  • - Location: GP Square, Coca-Cola Booth

To participate, individuals will need to bring three empty PET bottles. Those who bring in six or more bottles can join multiple times, but may have to wait if there is a high volume of participants.

Future-Proofing with Responsible Practices

By collaborating on the "Bottle-to-Bottle" initiative, both companies aim to raise awareness about sustainability and responsible consumption among race-goers. Not only does this create engaging opportunities, but it also strengthens the commitment to reducing waste and enhancing recycling practices.

The "Coke ON" app provides users with a convenient and rewarding way to enjoy Coca-Cola products. Users can collect stamps and earn drink tickets, making it a fantastic way to engage with the brand. With features that allow for cashless transactions, the app has achieved over 60 million downloads, making it available at around 500,000 vending machines across Japan.
