Major Update for ArcheAge War

On December 17, 2025, the latest MMORPG from the ArcheAge IP series, ArcheAge War, implemented a significant update that brought several groundbreaking features to the game. This includes the introduction of the first-ever global integrated server, a new primary class called Slaughter Battuhun, and the innovative Skill Switch system featuring the Sword Mage.

The Exciting New Global Integrated Servers

One of the most significant additions in this update is the launch of the global integrated servers, named Gudaron and Euwin. Players from around the world, including Korean users, can now connect and interact in a shared environment. These new servers operate independently from the general servers and will not be merged with them in the future. To ease character growth, a server-exclusive shop has been established, while exciting events that can only be participated in on these servers have also been introduced.

Within the Gudaron/Euwin servers, players cannot access the Fountain of Palos – meaning that gear and essential items can solely be acquired through hunting or trading with other players. This change stabilizes the scarcity and trading value of items within the game. Notably, items that were previously purchasable with gems on general servers can now be bought using gold coins on the Gudaron/Euwin servers. This drastically alters combat dynamics as players can no longer gain Twilight Moonstone, reducing excessive surprise attacks and withdrawals during fights. Instead, content will gradually unlock in accordance with players' growth, making it easier to enjoy the game overall.

The New Primary Class: Slaughter Battuhun

A notable addition to the class roster is the Slaughter Battuhun, which succeeds the war god Gudaron. Battuhun, once an ordinary swordsman, receives the war god's blessings, transforming him into an avatar of slaughter. Determined to protect the fate of everything dear to him amidst relentless despair, Battuhun boasts unparalleled combat capabilities.

This class can bind and inflict persistent damage to up to 15 targets using Black Lightning, applying both Destruction and Binding statuses, effectively restricting enemies' movements.

Introducing the Skill Switch System and the New Sword Mage Class

In an exciting twist, the update also sees the introduction of the Skill Switch system, allowing players to switch professions during battles while using a single weapon. This system is designed to supplement any weaknesses the player’s chosen class may have during combat.

The first class to utilize the Skill Switch is the Sword Mage, who specializes in PvP and can switch to unleash a long-range slashing attack in addition to their melee attacks. Another feature is the combat effect Mana Amok, enabling them to storm enemy lines and deliver devastating damage, disrupting enemy formations. New Gear Addition: Treasures

Joining the lineup of gear is the Treasures, the fourth type of Glora equipment following the original stones, elixirs, and decorations. Players can acquire these through crafting, and slots for Treasures can be unlocked through the Agent’s Mission. Equipped treasures provide defensive stats that reduce damage received, with various effects that cater specifically to PvP or PvE styles of play. Customize your Treasures to enhance your character according to your play style!

New Ancient Order: Andelf Republic

The update also introduces the Andelf Republic, an ancient order that grants various stats and the secret technique known as Andelf’s Secret Arts. This technique activates various effects, such as increasing cooperative damage or weapon attack power when an attack successfully hits. Developing skills through the Andelf Republic’s codices allows for even stronger character progression.

Additional Update Enhancements

Alongside these major changes, the update implements various system optimizations and improvements, including adjustments to the monster balance in the Dungeon of Seasonal Phantoms, turning it into a global/Korean integrated dungeon. New collection effect items specific to this dungeon have also been added, and balance adjustments made to the boss monster Mesmerizing Aria in the Five-Colored Paradise.

The expedition dungeon Karebar’s Cart has entered a new season, introducing a fresh mount, the Mo~boun. The optimization of the Shrine of Authority has been carried out, including adjustments to health points for guardians and spirits, enhancing the strategic elements of all encounters.

Players can now also discover new warp regions in the Inistere areas and items available for automatic decomposition, improving the overall gameplay experience.
