On October 7, 2025, Students 2 Science (S2S), a New Jersey-based non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), will host an exciting Community Open House at their newly established Apollo Technology Center. This event will run from 3 PM to 6 PM and promises an engaging experience for all attendees with opportunities to tour the facility, participate in demonstrations, and learn about the programs offered by S2S.

The Apollo Technology Center, which spans over 20,000 square feet, replaces the former East Hanover Technology Center, which has served S2S since its inception in 2009. This new center marks a significant expansion of S2S's capabilities, allowing them to better serve New Jersey's vast student population, particularly the 500,000 students who require educational support.

One of the standout features of the Apollo Technology Center is its commitment to providing hands-on learning experiences. Attendees at the open house can expect to see state-of-the-art lab equipment that mirrors those found in professional laboratories today. The center will also showcase dedicated spaces for S2S's various programs, including the new ISAAC (Improving Student Affinity and Aptitude for Careers in STEM) program, which caters to elementary school students in grades 3-5, and the expanded Virtual Lab (V-Lab) Program, designed for students in grades 3-12.

In addition, the center will introduce programs catered to middle and high school students, facilitating career-focused STEM days and will host a STEM Summer Camp slated to kick off in Summer 2026. Furthermore, S2S aims to bolster teacher training with a new Educator Professional Development Program, which aims to equip current K-12 educators with essential lab skills and knowledge that can be applied in the classroom.

Paul A. Winslow, the President and Co-Founder of Students 2 Science, expressed the significance of the new center by stating, "This is a defining moment for Students 2 Science. The Apollo Technology Center doubles our programming space and, more importantly, allows us to reach more students than we ever have in the organization's history. It has been six months of very hard work to develop this site, and I could not be more thrilled to open it up to the community."
