The Female Quotient and Rokt Team Up to Create FQ Lounges Celebrating Women in Motorsports

Empowering Women in Motorsports: The Launch of FQ Lounges

The Female Quotient, known as The FQ, has taken a significant step in fostering women's representation in the traditionally male-dominated realms of motorsports and STEM. In partnership with Rokt, a leader in e-commerce technology, The FQ is launching a series of innovative FQ Lounges at various Formula 1 races occurring in the U.S.

This collaboration aims to create a dynamic and supportive space for women to connect, engage, and thrive in these fields. The inaugural lounge will debut at the Miami Grand Prix from May 2 to 4, 2025, with plans for additional lounges at the Las Vegas race later in the year.

A Vision for Inclusion

Shelley Zalis, the Founder and CEO of The Female Quotient, articulated the mission behind the lounges, stating, "Women belong in motorsports and STEM—and we're making sure they see themselves there." This initiative aligns with both The FQ's and Rokt's commitment to advancing equality and providing women with opportunities to thrive in sectors where they have been historically underrepresented.

The lounges will feature exciting experiences, including state-of-the-art racing simulators that invite women to explore the thrilling world of sim racing. This initiative serves not only as a means of engagement but also aims to inspire the next generation of women in STEM fields.

Collaboration That Matters

Rokt's involvement in Formula 1 extends beyond just the lounges. The e-commerce giant has partnered with Red Bull Racing to support diversity within their teams, including their F1 team and F1 Academy team. Their commitment is exemplified through initiatives like "Driven Beyond Limits," a video series highlighting the contributions of female engineers at Oracle Red Bull Racing.

Furthermore, Rokt has initiated a global talent search known as "Rokt the Rig," which has garnered interest from over 2,000 female sim racers worldwide. This effort stands as a testament to the growing interest in female participation in motorsports and highlights the pathways being created for women in this thrilling domain.

Voices of Impact

The FQ Lounges will also feature a diverse lineup of speakers from significant organizations, including Mercedes-Benz USA, Visa, Inc., and Morgan Stanley. These engagements aim to provide attendees with insights, guidance, and mentorship opportunities, further empowering women to chase their dreams in STEM and motorsports.

The lounges are designed to be more than mere events; they are intended as supportive environments where meaningful connections can flourish. Attendees will have the chance to network, share their experiences, and ignite their ambitions within a community that champions women in all dimensions of motorsports.

Looking Ahead

As The Female Quotient and Rokt continue their collaboration, they envision a future where women feel empowered to take charge not only in motorsports but also in various fields of technology. Their dedication to changing the narrative surrounding women's involvement in such industries is both inspiring and necessary.

The FQ's upcoming lounges at major F1 events not only promise to create an engaging atmosphere but also aim to shift perceptions and open doors for women who have long been excluded. The urgency to amplify women's voices in motorsports is more critical than ever, and The FQ and Rokt are leading the way towards making this a reality.

Through these initiatives, both organizations hope to ensure that women see themselves represented not only at the track but also in the tech that powers the sport. The FQ Lounges stand as a revolutionary beacon for women's empowerment in motorsports and STEM, paving the way for future generations to drive their dreams into reality.
