Outdoor Brands, LLC Expands Retail Footprint for 2026 Grilling Season
As the 2026 grilling season approaches, Outdoor Brands, LLC, the parent company of well-known grill brands such as Pit Boss®, Charbroil®, and Oklahoma Joe's®, is making significant moves to strengthen its retail presence throughout North America. Recent announcements signal the company’s commitment to expanding its market reach, operational capacity, and consumer accessibility.
Expanded Distribution Agreements
In a significant step forward, Outdoor Brands has forged new retail distribution agreements, which will place their products in popular grocery chains including Publix and Kroger. With Pit Boss® charcoal making its debut in Publix stores, consumers across the Southeast will have enhanced access to quality grilling products. Furthermore, the brand will roll out a national expansion of Pit Boss® wood pellets at Kroger, ensuring that shoppers in one of the largest retail networks in the U.S. can easily procure their grilling essentials starting mid-March.
Additionally, a new joint initiative at Costco is set to showcase various brands under Outdoor Brands' umbrella. With plans for 150 to 200 promotional events in 2026, this multi-brand Costco Roadshow aims to engage customers more directly, allowing them to experience products like the Pit Boss Navigator and Charbroil Pro Series firsthand. This initiative promises to elevate consumer engagement within the warehouse club channel while driving brand awareness and sales.
Significant Infrastructure Investments
To support its growing market presence, Outdoor Brands is also investing in robust infrastructure improvements. A notable development includes the doubling of their warehouse space in Brantford, Ontario. This expansion will significantly enhance distribution capacity and improve operational efficiency across Canada.
Moreover, the company has inaugurated a new 10,000-square-foot Commercial Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. This state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to driving product innovation, retail planning, and merchandising strategies. Such enhancements are expected to foster swift market response times and promote deeper collaborations with retail partners.
Tom Penner, Group President of Outdoor Brands, remarked on these developments, stating, "As we enter the 2026 season, we are executing against a clear strategy, expanding fuel distribution, deepening retail partnerships, and investing in infrastructure that supports scale. This is part of a broader roadmap focused on sustained growth and delivering products that meet the evolving needs of both our retail partners and consumers."
