Celebrate Spring with the 'Celebration of Beginnings - Spring Share Dinner' at Izu Marriott Hotel Shuzenji

Celebrate Spring with a Delicious Dining Experience

Izu Marriott Hotel Shuzenji, managed by Kunihiko Ishiguro, is welcoming the arrival of spring with a special dining event titled 'Celebration of Beginnings - Spring Share Dinner', available from March 1 to May 31, 2026. Set in the sophisticated ambiance of Grill & Dining G, this share dinner is designed for families and groups, allowing guests to indulge in seasonal delights while celebrating the beauty of spring.

The event is divided into two periods: from March 1 to April 24, guests will be treated to a pink-themed menu, while from May 6 to May 31, the focus will shift to a green palette. This exciting culinary journey reflects the vibrant scenery of Izu, where guests can relish the flavors of fresh, local ingredients served in a share-style format. Each dish is crafted to evoke not just taste but also the visual and aromatic essence of the season, encouraging guests to share their experience in a communal setting.

Menu Highlights

The evening will commence with an Amuse plate featuring Izu strawberry beignets served with wasabi salt, offering a delightful taste sensation that sets the tone for the spring-themed evening. Following this, guests can enjoy Appetizers such as clam and Shuzenji black rice galette, complemented by Yui's sakura shrimp and edible flower crackers.
Spring vegetables and their fleeting beauty will shine through in the Seasonal Soup offerings – from March 1 to April 24, enjoy a pink bamboo shoot potage infused with sakura essence, while those dining from May 6 to May 31 can savor a light green pea and bamboo shoot potage.

Main Plates

For the Main course, the menu features domestic beef and Izu deer, which are richly smoked with cherry wood or cedar for an aromatic depth. This is paired with strawberry mustard as a unique accent and complemented by a delicately breaded season fish accompanied by grilled vegetables reflecting the beauty of spring.

The culinary experience culminates with a memorable Dessert plate, which, from March 1 to April 24, includes sakura dorayaki paired with edible flower water dumplings served with freshly whisked matcha. In contrast, guests from May 6 to May 31 will enjoy a mugwort dorayaki instead of the sakura variant, showcasing the continued evolution of spring flavors.

Meaning and Creation of the Menu

Chef Takayuki Yura, who designed the menu, stated, "I wanted to capture the essence of spring's 'beginnings' in a manner that embraces color, aroma, and flavor. The courses are meant to be enjoyed together, making the culinary experience even more pleasurable as guests share their meals. I encourage everyone to indulge in the delicious spring ingredients from Izu amidst our beautifully colored dishes."
