Deanna Peterson Takes Leadership Role in Nonprofit Sector at YPTC

Deanna Peterson has recently been promoted to the position of Nonprofit Specializations Director at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC). This exciting development comes after her successful tenure as the director of YPTC's Phoenix office. Having joined the firm in 2019, Deanna's expertise and leadership have grown significantly, making this new role a natural progression in her career.

In her latest appointment, Deanna will oversee the firm's initiatives in client service and business development within the nonprofit sector. This move follows the retirement of Andi McGunnigle, the previous Specializations Director. With over two decades of accounting experience, including roles in Big 4 public accounting, nonprofit controllership, and consulting, Deanna brings a wealth of knowledge to the position.

YPTC has been dedicated to providing exceptional services to a diverse array of nonprofit organizations, including foundations, associations, and cultural institutions, for more than thirty years. To enhance their offerings, the firm established a formal specializations department in 2020, allowing them to cater to the specific needs of various nonprofit sub-sectors. This strategic initiative not only aims to attract new clients but also relies on the expertise of experienced staff, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction for existing clients.
