EICMA 2026: A Groundbreaking Exhibition Redefining Motorcycling Festivals
The 83rd edition of the EICMA (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori) kicked off today, November 3, 2026, in Milan, and it has set a remarkable precedent as the largest event ever organized at the Fiera Milano Rho. With a slogan, "Always the first time. A new discovery every year," this event promises to be an extraordinary showcase for the motorcycle industry, attracting enthusiasts and professionals alike.
This year, EICMA has expanded its exhibition space significantly, occupying ten halls that cover over 300,000 square meters. The event features an impressive lineup of 754 exhibitors and showcases a whopping 2,120 brands from 52 different countries. This growth not only underscores EICMA's leadership on the world stage but also highlights its role as a vital platform for business, innovation, and motorcycle culture.
Pietro Meda, the president of EICMA, emphasized, "Every edition brings a new touch of novelty while preserving the excitement of a first experience," showcasing the organization's dedication to innovation. The diversity of exhibitors this year is remarkable, with 74% being international brands, confirming the appeal of EICMA beyond Italy’s borders. About 30% of the exhibitors are either returning companies or participating for the first time, indicating a healthy influx of new talent and products into the industry.
Among the significant features of EICMA 2026 is the Speed Legends exhibition, which celebrates the history of the MotoGP. Developed as part of the EICMA.SHIFT UP partnership with MotoGP, this display presents over 30 iconic racing bikes alongside the five MotoGP machines that will compete in the upcoming season, enhanced by interactive experiences and a dedicated gaming arena.
In a similar vein, the return of the Dakar Rally will undoubtedly excite attendees. This is made possible through a renewed partnership with ASO, showcasing both historical and contemporary rally bikes in Hall 22, alongside an official Dakar container. Outside the exhibition halls, MotoLive offers a thrilling lineup of races and demonstrations over an expansive 60,000 square meters, including bicylindrical motorcycle competitions, freestyle motocross, and trials performances featuring guest star Toni Bou. Notable automotive legends such as Troy Bayliss, Marco Melandri, and Stefan Everts will join in the Champions Charity Race Legend, promising memorable moments for fans.
Attendees will also have the chance to test drive over 40 vehicles at Y.U.M. – Your Urban Mobility, highlighting futuristic solutions for transportation and adventure tourism illustrated through EICMA Adventouring and the Start-up space, with support from the Italian Trade Agency.
The event has been set up to ensure smooth access by public transport, in collaboration with local authorities and transportation companies like ATM and Trenord. They have designed a global mobility plan to facilitate access to the venue and provided approximately 15,000 free parking spaces.
Paolo Magri, the CEO of EICMA, reiterated the international dimension of the event by stating, "These figures demonstrate EICMA’s ongoing capacity to attract investments, host new businesses, and represent the global motorcycle industry." EICMA 2026 will continue until November 8th, welcoming the public from November 5th onward. Tickets are available online at www.eicma.it.
