EICMA 2026: A Milestone in Motorcycle Enthusiasm

EICMA (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori), renowned for showcasing the latest in motorcycle technology, is unveiling its 83rd edition from November 3 to November 8, 2026, in Milan. This year's event is being touted as the largest ever, claiming a monumental presence at the Fiera Milano Rho.

Under the inspiring slogan, "Always the first time. A new discovery every year," EICMA 2026 encompasses an impressive total of ten exhibition halls, which is an increase from nine halls in the previous edition. Spanning over 300,000 square meters, the exhibition will host an incredible 754 exhibitors presenting around 2,120 brands from 52 different countries. This expansion demonstrates EICMA's unwavering commitment to being a leader in the global motorcycle industry.

A quick glance at the figures reveals that 74% of the brands participating this year hail from international origins, while about 30% of direct exhibitors are familiar faces returning to the event alongside first-time participants. The surge in numbers highlights the show’s pivotal role as a hub for business, innovation, and the culture of motorcycling on a global stage.

The 2026 edition promises to be an exhilarating experience for visitors, with an unprecedented program filled with exhibitions, racing, entertainment, and immersive experiences. Among the main attractions is the "Speed Legends" exhibition, a tribute to the rich heritage of MotoGP racing. Curated in collaboration with MotoGP, it features over 30 historic racing motorcycles and allows fans to view five of the latest MotoGP bikes competing this season. Additionally, various interactive experiences and a dedicated Gaming Arena will provide more engagement for attendees.

The Dakar Rally also makes a grand reappearance, thanks to a renewed partnership with ASO. This component will feature both historic and modern rally motorcycles alongside an official Dakar-themed container, giving a nostalgic yet modern twist to the showcase.

Beyond the indoor exhibitions, the excitement continues at MotoLive, which occupies over 60,000 square meters outside of the exhibition halls. Here, visitors can experience thrilling races and entertaining displays, including twin-cylinder motorcycle contests, Freestyle Motocross performances, and unique trial shows featuring legends like Toni Bou. One of the major highlights, the Champions Charity Race, will see motorsport icons such as Troy Bayliss, Marco Melandri, and Stefan Everts racing for charity, providing a blend of adrenaline and goodwill.

EICMA 2026 also focuses on urban mobility by allowing attendees to experience test rides at Y.U.M. – Your Urban Mobility area, showcasing more than 40 vehicles specially designed for urban commuting. The initiative further emphasizes the event’s role in promoting innovative solutions for future mobility along with EICMA Adventouring and the Start-up Area dedicated to adventure tourism solutions supported by the Italian Trade Agency.

EICMA President, Pietro Meda, expressed optimism: "Every edition brings something new while preserving the excitement of a first-time experience. Our mission is to keep surprising visitors, connecting generations and creating value for the entire industry." It is this spirit of continuous innovation that keeps EICMA aligned with the evolving expectations of motorcycle enthusiasts and industry stakeholders alike.

In line with its commitment to sustainability and facilitating access, a comprehensive mobility plan has been established in collaboration with local transport authorities and the Municipality of Milan. This plan aims to ease access to the exhibition through efficient public transportation options and offers approximately 15,000 free parking spots for attendees.
