On October 12, 2025, the renowned restaurant CENSU TOKYO hosted its second pop-up event in Sendai, titled 'An Irreplaceable Night Woven by Tradition and the Senses'. This event celebrated the fusion of Japanese and French culinary arts, featuring dishes created by Chef Ikuyuki Kanesu from Tokyo and Chef Shun Sato, the founder of CENSU Hong Kong, both of whom have personal ties to Sendai.

After a successful first pop-up in 2024, the chefs wanted to bring their unique dining experience back to their homeland.

This year's event took place in 'mood', a restaurant known for promoting new cultural initiatives in Sendai, and included a collaboration with TRADMAN’S BONSAI, which added a unique flair to the decor with its intricate bonsai arrangements. Guests were treated to an evening filled with a vibrant ambiance, as over 200 attendees enjoyed the culinary experience, which mirrored the lively atmosphere of the CENSU TOKYO restaurant itself.

Attendees sampled a variety of CENSU's signature dishes, including caramel corn, Dan Dan noodles, and chicken wing dumplings, as well as exclusive offerings like roasted beef and sweet potato brûlée, specifically prepared for this event. Additionally, guests had the opportunity to taste original Japanese sake, including a special sake called 'SŌMATŌ', only available at CENSU TOKYO, further enhancing the authenticity of the dining experience.
