Since its inception in 2009, Vivid Sydney has dazzled over 25 million visitors and generated an impressive $1.3 billion in visitor spendings. The festival stands as a remarkable platform to showcase innovative creativity and compelling storytelling, transforming Sydney into a wonderland of lights, music, and ideas.

The festival aims to illuminate the vibrant streets of Sydney, reinforcing the city's reputation as a cultural epicenter in the Asia-Pacific region. Minister for Jobs and Tourism, Steve Kamper, emphasized the importance of the festival, stating that it serves not only as a beacon of creativity and culture but also as a robust driver of economic engagement.
