In an exciting alliance, CUEIGHT, a Tokyo-based entertainment company, has teamed up with SELLIVE, a leading TikTok LIVE agency in South Korea, to kick off the NEO K-POP DIGITAL IDOL PROJECT. This innovative initiative is designed to tap into Generation Z's fascination with social media and K-POP, ultimately creating a fresh wave of digital idols. The project aims to find and nurture true talents directly from TikTok's vast platform, allowing aspiring stars to shine in a new era of K-POP.

Why Now? The Shift to NEO K-POP



The landscape of K-POP is transforming. In today's digital age, idols are no longer the sole domain of traditional media or entertainment agencies. Social media platforms empower everyone to showcase their talents and connect with fans worldwide. The NEO K-POP DIGITAL IDOL PROJECT focuses on finding and cultivating real stars from a digital-native Generation Z, leading them on a journey from discovery to debut.

Project Overview



The NEO K-POP DIGITAL IDOL PROJECT harbors ambitions of uncovering and fostering new stars by integrating Z generation, social media, and K-POP into a holistic digital audition and development framework. Participants in the project can leverage simple smartphone access to reveal their talents and engage a global audience, transforming support from viewers into a stepping stone to greater heights.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to attend a short training camp in South Korea, where they will engage in comprehensive lessons with some of the best professionals in the industry. This phase will focus on enhancing performance skills, expression, and personal growth, setting participants on the path to becoming genuine K-POP artists.

Imagine a journey beginning at TikTok that evolves into one's own story, transitioning dreams into reality. The NEO K-POP DIGITAL IDOL PROJECT promises to offer every challenger a future encapsulated in the name “stage.”

Audition Flow



Step 1: Entry
1. Fill out the application form and submit it.
2. Add the dedicated support LINE to receive participation guidelines.

Step 2: Auditions (STAGE 1 & STAGE 2)
  • - STAGE 1: September 1 - September 14
  • - STAGE 2: September 18 - September 28
  • - Evaluation Methods: (1) TikTok (LIVE streams and video uploads) (2) Public voting through the “LiNC” app.

Step 3: Finals
  • - Dates: October 13 - October 20
  • - Evaluation Methods: (1) TikTok (LIVE streams and video uploads) (2) Public voting on the “LiNC” app.

Final Rewards



The top participant (1 person) and any jury award recipient(s) will gain the right to a final interview for potential candidates, scheduled around October 22 - 24. Selected candidates will partake in a short training program in South Korea lasting approximately 80 days, which entails:
  • - Focused K-POP lessons at local studios.
  • - An integrated training program involving lessons, filming, and streaming.
  • - All expenses for transport, accommodation, and lessons will be covered by the project.
  • - After the training, a final selection of debut members will be made.

After debuting, artists can expect:
  • - Access to professional lessons in Korea.
  • - Activity support funds.
  • - Opportunities to appear in brand and cosmetic advertisements, along with chances for media appearances, music releases, and stage performances.

Eligibility to Apply


  • - Female residents of Japan, aged 18-26.
  • - Beginners are welcome, while experienced candidates will be preferred.
  • - Those aspiring to become K-POP idols, who enjoy TikTok, love Korea, and wish to follow their dreams are encouraged to apply!
