OneCareer and Adobe Join Forces
In a notable collaboration, OneCareer Inc., headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo and led by CEO Naoyuki Miyashita, has partnered with Adobe Inc. to unveil a new seminar designed specifically for university and graduate students graduating in 2027 and 2028. The seminar, named "Self-Analysis and PR Seminar,” aims to address common concerns regarding self-analysis and personal branding during the job search process. This initiative went live in November 2025 and is expected to significantly aid students as they navigate the complexities of job hunting.
Supporting Students to Showcase Their Authenticity
Since March 2024, OneCareer and Adobe have been actively working to help students effectively communicate their unique qualities to potential employers. This collaboration has involved various initiatives aimed at enhancing the job hunting experience for students. In February 2025, OneCareer integrated Adobe’s design tool, Adobe Express, into its job support platform, enabling students to create visually appealing self-promotion images directly on the OneCareer website.
The campaign, themed "My Uniqueness is My Weapon," was launched in May 2025, championing diverse and creative methods for self-promotion through web commercials and outdoor advertising. Furthermore, in June, the two companies co-hosted offline seminars focused on enhancing self-presentation skills for job seekers. These programs have proven indispensable for students who often struggle to identify or articulate their strengths.
Online Accessibility to Self-Promotion Training
To broaden the reach of their initiatives, the Self-Analysis and PR Seminar has been adapted into an online format, allowing students to participate at their convenience. This version builds upon the offline seminar conducted in June, all while remaining free of charge. Participants will first complete a “Career Trait Diagnostic Test,” which lasts approximately 10 minutes and consists of 80 questions. This diagnostic tool effectively visualizes their traits, behavioral tendencies, strengths, and personal selling points.
Step-by-Step Guide
1.
Visualizing Personal Traits: Upon completing the diagnostic test, students receive insights about their top five traits, which form a strong foundation for crafting their personal branding slogans.
2.
Strength Discovery Seminar: OneCareer provides a 1-hour seminar that interprets the results of the diagnostic test. This session highlights the discovered strengths, teaching students how to effectively communicate these traits to prospective employers.
3.
Creating Effective Self-Promotion: Under the guidance of professional creators, students will learn specific techniques for crafting self-promotion images using Adobe Express, ensuring that their strengths are communicated effectively. These images can then be uploaded to the OneCareer platform to enhance their visibility to employers seeking talent.
