Leadership Change at Logosynthesis International Association

The Logosynthesis® International Association (LIA™) recently announced a pivotal change in its leadership, with the appointment of Dr. Regina Thiergardt, PhD, from Switzerland, as the new President. This transition, effective March 25, 2026, follows the tenure of Dr. Heike Rudolf von Rohr, PhD, who has successfully completed three years at the helm, guiding the organization through significant strategic developments.

Dr. Thiergardt steps into her new role during a time of notable growth for the LIA, as its global community continues to expand. Logosynthesis® is increasingly recognized as an effective approach for achieving sustainable, meaningful changes in various fields, including coaching, counseling, and psychotherapy. Dr. Thiergardt has a diverse background that seamlessly integrates science, leadership, and human development. Her career highlights include overseeing research and development in the pharmaceutical sector, advising on executive potential, and aiding individuals during critical career transitions. This extensive experience places her in an ideal position to lead the LIA into its next phase.

In her new capacity, Dr. Thiergardt will prioritize building a cohesive international community that promotes collaboration among practitioners. Her vision encompasses enhancing the shared practices within the profession and supporting the practical application of the Logosynthesis model.

"I've witnessed the profound transformations that occur when individuals reconnect with themselves. Such moments can be life-changing, and I aim to nurture this community's potential to facilitate even more significant shifts in people's lives," stated Dr. Thiergardt.

Continuing their roles as Chair are Dr. med. Suzanne von Blumenthal, Cathy Caswell, Alan Rojas Yacolca, and Henriette Anzböck. Together, they will collaborate with Dr. Thiergardt and Executive Director Monika Koller Schinca to drive the development of LIA's programs and maintain high professional standards. More information about the current board can be accessed through the LIA website.

As the LIA embarks on this next phase, there will be a heightened focus on establishing a strong evidence base for Logosynthesis through partnerships and collaborative research endeavors. This initiative aligns with the Association’s commitment to serving professionals and individuals globally who utilize Logosynthesis to improve well-being, manage stress and trauma, and unlock human potential.
