Huawei's Global Installer Summit: Pioneering a Greener Home Energy Ecosystem
Huawei's 7th Global Installer Summit: Shaping a Greener Future
From October 21 to 23, 2026, Huawei held its 7th Global Installer Summit in Dongguan, China, bringing together over 1,000 partners and installers from 54 countries.
This international event served as a vital platform to share strategies, new products, and solutions, while discussing industry trends and models for a sustainable future. Huawei Digital Power unveiled its comprehensive installation strategy, showcasing cutting-edge products that reinforce their commitment to low-carbon energy production and electrification of mobility. The summit aimed to foster a collaborative ecosystem facilitating the transition to renewable energy through innovative technologies such as networking and artificial intelligence.
Among the key highlights was the launch of the LUTERRA™ S2, the industry’s first entirely Silicon Carbide (SiC) based all-in-one system. Featuring attributes designed for maximum efficiency and ease of installation, the LUTERRA™ S2 can be set up in under ten minutes, boasts 10% greater usable capacity, and lasts an impressive 43% longer than its counterparts. These advancements position Huawei as a leader in enhancing sustainable practices within home energy management.
The event culminated in the first-ever global installation competition hosted by Huawei FusionSolar, featuring teams from 36 countries. This spirited contest saw the Spanish champions completing their setup in a remarkable 2 minutes and 32 seconds, showcasing the rapid deployment capabilities of the LUTERRA™ S2 and setting a new industry standard in installation speed.
Throughout the summit, industry leaders shared success stories. A French firm highlighted a shift from a traditional resale model to a subscription platform connecting homeowners, installation companies, banks, and grid operators. Meanwhile, representatives from Thailand discussed transitioning individual products into integrated smart home ecosystems, addressing energy storage systems, chargers, and green finance integration.
In Mexico, a showcased firm emphasized regulatory compliance and collaboration as keys to overcoming industrial energy challenges, while a Brazilian company proved the reliability of Huawei's technologies by implementing the region’s first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in their factory before any commercial sales.
Beyond just a networking event, the summit served as a strategic meeting point for global installer partners to align their visions and shape a path toward sustainable development together. As a forward-looking initiative, Huawei aims to continue its collaboration with installers, leveraging technological innovation and ecosystem partnerships to bolster global green transformation.
In terms of market availability, the LUTERRA S2 is set to launch in Europe in November 2026, followed by a rollout in the Asia-Pacific region in December. As Huawei continues to champion the evolution of green energy solutions, this summit symbolizes a pivotal moment for the industry, enhancing the collective journey toward a more sustainable future.
