The O-MU-TSU MUSEUM: Pioneering a New Approach to Diaper Awareness
As a groundbreaking initiative taking center stage at the 2025 H.C.R. (International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition), the "O-MU-TSU MUSEUM" will be held from October 8 to 10 at the Tokyo Big Sight. This event is poised to become a highlight of Asia's largest welfare equipment exhibition, building on the success of the previous O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO held at the Osaka Kansai Expo earlier this year, which saw overwhelming interest with 1,900 attendees.
The core theme of the O-MU-TSU MUSEUM is to elevate the perception of diapers, transforming them from a basic necessity into an art form and a topic of cultural discussion. This innovative exhibition aims to attract a diverse audience, ranging from healthcare professionals to the general public, and ignite conversations around the essential role of diapers in everyday life and their intersection with dignity and care.

Collaboration with Leading Manufacturers
The O-MU-TSU MUSEUM is proud to announce the participation of eight leading diaper and undergarment manufacturers from Japan. This collaborative effort promises to provide insights into the latest advancements in product design and functionality, directly engaging a wide audience with practical demonstrations and expert presentations. The collaboration underscores the importance of making healthcare and hygiene discussions more approachable for all generations.
A Media-Friendly Initiative
The initiative is also focused on engaging media representatives to help spread awareness about the event’s significance and its underlying social mission. The last O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO garnered attention from over 100 media outlets, producing diverse coverage that sparked meaningful discussions throughout society. The organizers are eager for media coverage to highlight the importance of accessible healthcare solutions and the ongoing challenges surrounding care for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
