Strengthening Research Management Training through Collaboration

On August 12, 2026, Okayama University, located in Okayama City, successfully conducted a collaborative meeting with Chiba University at its Tsushima Campus's Co-Creation Innovation Lab, KIBINOVE. This initiative is part of a Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) project aimed at strengthening the research capabilities of universities across the nation by fostering skilled research management personnel. The goal is to address the current shortage of such professionals in Japan while enhancing their quality and establishing clear career paths.

During the Q&A session, Takahashi and Yazawa sought clarification on specific elements within the training they were particularly interested in.
