Final Event: Exploring the Vision for Early Childhood Development Together

Final Event: Exploring the 'First 100 Months Development Vision'

The series titled 'How to Interpret the Vision for Early Childhood Development over the First 100 Months' concludes with its fourth session, focusing on the compilation of insights from various perspectives regarding this essential vision formulated by the Child and Family Agency. Approved by the Cabinet on December 22, 2023, this vision highlights a crucial period in a child's life—from pregnancy through to the first grade of elementary school. It emphasizes the importance of the principles that guide development during these formative years.

The overarching theme encourages the entire society to support the upbringing of children, reinforcing the necessity of collective understanding and engagement. As we gather for this final event, we will delve into the details of the vision, seeking answers on how we can leverage it to enrich our societal context. It is important that this vision is not merely acknowledged but actively utilized to its fullest potential.

Despite its significance, it remains a fact that many individuals are still unaware of this vision. Therefore, our emphasis on 'knowing' becomes imperative. Here, 'knowing' transcends merely acquiring correct information. It involves reflecting on 'what is important' and 'why it matters' in one's own words. This critical thinking process is vital for a deeper understanding and establishing a foundation for future actions.

Throughout this series, we have prioritized the act of interpretation, which is crucial in grasping the core values embedded in the vision. This final event will be held in person, with online streaming available, providing an opportunity for connections nationwide to engage in meaningful discussions together.
